Please bare in mind that even the most awesome tutorial of the best artist out there is not able to teach you the basic understanding of the subject you paint. Don’t get frustrated because the tutorial doesn’t seem to give you the wanted effect.

Most tutorials are about technique and how to use your tools. It is a completely different matter to understand the actual nature of what you want to paint.
That said - here are some tutorials I made myself or have been created by other artists. It will probably take you some time to try out all different kind of tutorials until you develop a way for yourself which is most likely a mix of everything you have tried out so far.
